About Us

Don Valley Dolphins A.S.C

Don Valley Dolphins was established in 2002 and is based at Don Valley High School, Scawthorpe, Doncaster. The club has enjoyed success in recent years developing young swimmers in a friendly, family orientated environment. It is down to the knowledge and professionalism of the Head Coach, and the experience of  members and helpers at the club that make us a must for all.

Being one of the feeder clubs for the renowned Doncaster Dartes , Don Valley Dolphins provides a perfect stepping stone to potential future aspiring swimmers. So if you want your child to enhance their swimming skills, develop confidence, undertake stimulating exercise and make new friends having a great time in the process  then look no further.

We will endeavour to answer any questions and help in any way we can.

Squads and Training:

Don Valley Dolphins Swimming Club is divided into four squads:

A Squad

B Squad

C Squad (New)

D Squad (Disability)

All training sessions will last for one hour.

We now have a new C Squad session on a Friday evening 6-7pm at a cost of £4. The minimum requirement for this session is the ability to swim 1 length back stroke confidently.

In training the swimmers will work towards improving their stroke techniques, starts, turns and stamina.

The main goals when training will be to learn the rules/techniques of swimming, to prepare for and participate in galas, to keep fit and most of all to enjoy swimming and make new friends.
